Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
This piece started off as a backing track for a song. I encountered problems with the vocal melody and also with singing the lyrics that I'd written. I scraped the song idea and concentrated on making it into an interesting instrumental. Well, as usual, things got a bit out of hand and it somehow transformed itself into this longish instrumental.

Cool harmonics at the intro leads into a driving guitar collage with great sounding tones and riffs. Very nice harmony guitar lines and a little overdrive gives this just the right amount of "bite" to make it edgy, cool and groovy. Almost 9 minutes of greatness here. Awesome work, David!!!

Nice dynamics with the tempo changes and the mood changes...yeah, really nice. Your guitar(s) are played wonderfully in this progressive vibe rock instrumental. The tones are harmonized wonderfully. A smooth clear production and a tune that gets under your skin. Enjoyed the 'Haze':)

You have quite a distinctive prog-rock style of your own which shines through on many of your tracks. I hear elements of retro and psychedelic music, yet it also has a contemporary feel to it. Excellent arrangement and production, I like all the twists and turns - definitely one for a hazy Summer day.
