Lyrics
Well, here I go, with yet another rap song.
Got my thinking cap on,
Tryna put together some standard lyrics to rap from.
The beat -- A snare overlapped on an old jazz song.
It reminds me that the struggles of my past are gone
And sets the smooth track that I'm now on.
You know, sometimes I commit the same sins twice.
But then, I'm forgiven by wisdom, which saves the insight.
I've traveled the lanes of life,
Only to find, we're labeled equal, but not even given the same rights.
But hey, it's a taint life..
We can't all be painted white
So I turn to a savior, and it ain't Christ.
Nah, Christ's children act like they're victims.
I'm not a victim, just a student of wisdom.
Following Islam, but studying the Psalms of the Good Bible.
At peace with myself, no longer trapped in the palms of the hood's tribal.
There's two kinds of people in this world.
Those who take a glance and throw a left hook.
Or those who orbserve with hands, and throw sex looks.
I'm neither, cause being catagorized is a waste of life
And whatever else is in your checkbook.
Some are greedy, some just want their portion payed.
Me; I can't say what it is, but I can tell you what my fortune ain't.
I don't need my portrait framed,
And I don't wanna fight in the wars of fame.
Being simple and positive just has more to gain.
I'm the peaceful, humble one
Only kid in the back of class not chewing bubble gum.
Got no worries about suttle junk.
Just focussed on lovin' Mum, and picking this lyrical rubble up.
Positivity circles us in fluent speeches.
Feel the warm embrace of the blue and greenness.
It's Mother Earth, view and breathe it.
I can't tell you how much I love being a human bein'.
