Another new recording by Guitarboy. The 1st. part of this, is an instrumental interpretation of the song, 'The Bird Charmer's Destiny', by Be Bop Deluxe (written by Bill Nelson)... followed by my own musical development.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
'The Bird Charmer's Destiny', is a lovely lament of a song by Be Bop Deluxe (written by Bill Nelson) from their wonderful, Modern Music album. The extra section that I've recorded for this piece (under the disguise as Guitarboy) uses a sequence of chords that is pleasing to improvise over in 3 different keys. The original song by Be Bop Deluxe merges into a song called, 'You're The Gold At The End Of My Rainbow'. I feel that my additional improvisation could bridge the two.
Lyrics
Guitar chords for the final line of the Be Bop Deluxe song are... C -(B)- Am / G / F / Fm / C -G then... improvise at will in an appropriate 'major' scale over... Am / F / Am / G// Am / F / Am / G D / A / D / A // C / G / C / G // C / G / C / G F / C / A...

Love songs that start using minor chords. Great sounding guitar tones and riffs here including the harmonics and harmonizing!

Great job and excellent guitar work. I think Bill Nelson should invite you to play on his next song!
