blues/gospel rock tune...a quick one
Artist picture
Alternative country contemporary christian pop/rock
When I was 22 a young lawyer took one of my songs and put it on the ‘B' side of his recording of Ave Maria. He invited me to watch the recording session at Criteria in Miami, Florida. Since that moment all I have ever wanted was to have my music recorded by professional musicians and sung by established artists. This truly is a monumental task as I do not perform live so I have recorded my own material as a means to get exposure and as a way for artists to be able to judge the “cover” worth of my songs. I am looking for a publishing deal. Contact Info: Jim Blachura C/O Stablesongs Phone: 336 995 0813 E Mail: saintlymanmusic@yahoo.com Saintly Man Music /ASCAP

Story behind the song
actually my Aunt Dorothy married and moved to Homestead and there was a little church across the street...Mom called the Holy Rollers
Lyrics
Holy Rollers / Blachura Holy Rollers in Homestead, Florida Across from Aunt Dorothy’s little house Singing and hollering about the Lord Their souls all being aroused singing Jesus loves me Jesus loves me Jesus loves me with all of his heart (inst) Money was tight, not much around The little church was only made of wood They gave what they had but more from the heart But they’d have built it with brick if they could singing Jesus loves me Jesus loves me Jesus loves me with all of his heart (inst) Once a month on Saturday we’d all go down To see Aunt Dorothy in her home and the Minute we’d get close we’d start hearing the sounds Of the angels singing from their thrones shouting Jesus loves me Jesus loves me Jesus loves me with all of his heart (preacher speaking over the congregation) I raise my hands to the sky because the Lord is nigh He’s coming to me and setting me free We’re shouting all praise to the Ancient of Days Making his name known to all of the ages
