When I was 22 a young lawyer took one of my songs and put it on the ‘B' side of his recording of Ave Maria. He invited me to watch the recording session at Criteria in Miami, Florida. Since that moment all I have ever wanted was to have my music recorded by professional musicians and sung by established artists. This truly is a monumental task as I do not perform live so I have recorded my own material as a means to get exposure and as a way for artists to be able to judge the “cover” worth of my songs. I am looking for a publishing deal. Contact Info: Jim Blachura C/O Stablesongs Phone: 336 995 0813 E Mail: saintlymanmusic@yahoo.com Saintly Man Music /ASCAP

Story behind the song
my great grandmother and grandfather had a home in Angola New York (Buffalo) and there was a boxcar sitting on a railroad track across the street om their house...thus...a child's fantasy...
Lyrics
Boxcar in Angola hobos passing through Mr and Mrs Ludlow looking through their window To see if anyone's there to see if anyone knew Where to come and get some dinner when their bellies get so thin But a drifter never figures anyone will bake a pie and have him in A drifter never figures anyone will bake a pie and have him in That boxcar's been on the tracks now for six or seven weeks Weather's turning sour the prospects seem so bleak For someone passing through who hasn't got a clue Or a place to go or a home to speak of But a drifter never figures anyone will bake a pie and have him in (2) Old man Ludlow's going out now locking all the doors at will But Mrs Ludlow leaves the pies upon the window sill In the kitchen where she bakes her many pies and cakes In the hopes that some bum or two will get their fill But a drifter never figures anyone will bake a pie and have him in (2) But the drifters never figure anyone will bake a pie and have them in Oh a drifter always figures to get high while drinking gin
