Story behind the song

I've always enjoyed this song from the 1960s made famous by Manfred Mann (and later by Rod Stuart). As I've been suffering from a bit of a chest cold... a vocal version is out of the question just at the moment, But... I will record a vocal version soon.
I've used a few different guitar sounds here...a bit of a 'souped-up Hank Marvin' sound , a slightly 'Jazzy' section, a 'Bluesy' section and finally a Rock section to end on.

Great sounding bottom to this Pop rocker from a gentler age :)
The melodic guitar has a hint of harmonic surrounding it that fattens the tone and makes it breath, in other words.. NICE TONE!!! :D
