When I was 22 a young lawyer took one of my songs and put it on the ‘B' side of his recording of Ave Maria. He invited me to watch the recording session at Criteria in Miami, Florida. Since that moment all I have ever wanted was to have my music recorded by professional musicians and sung by established artists. This truly is a monumental task as I do not perform live so I have recorded my own material as a means to get exposure and as a way for artists to be able to judge the “cover” worth of my songs. I am looking for a publishing deal. Contact Info: Jim Blachura C/O Stablesongs Phone: 336 995 0813 E Mail: saintlymanmusic@yahoo.com Saintly Man Music /ASCAP

Story behind the song
we actually walked back in the early 80's under a bridge where someone had spray painted 'Jesus' on the concrete wall...I remember coming up with that 'took the wrong road line'...until now that 2 line chorus was all that existed for the last 30 some odd years...what a mind...hah
Lyrics
I Found Jesus/ Blachura Walkin’ along with a couple bottles of beer Drinkin’ and kickin’ stones to there from here And under the bridge painted in green, white and gold Was the name of the Saviour big, bright and bold I didn’t know what to do or which way to go No traffic light there to let me know When I found Jesus under the bypass And took the wrong road Holes in my shoes and most of my money gone I’m wandering so far don’t think I’ll ever get home Sweat pouring from my brow heading home in the heat Hot concrete burning the soles of my feet Then I heard the Lord beckon me back to lighten my load From under the cloverleaf ramp painted in green white and gold Didn’t know if I should turn around or keep kicking these stones Mixed up as ever on my own When I found Jesus under the bypass And took the wrong road Holes in my shoes and most of my money gone I’m wandering so far don’t think I’ll ever get home I just keep on walking getting closer to my place My legs are getting weaker from the pace But haunting me ever were those five letters which glowed The painted name of the Saviour in green, white and gold
