The words "Baraka Bashad" are from the ancient Pali language and simply mean "May The Blessings Be!" I wrote & arranged this song with a light, Caribbean feel to it. Bruce Wozny plays guitar & sings back-up; I do the lead vocal & other instruments.

Story behind the song
In our society we are often inclined to pray to God to bring us specific things, even when they may seem unselfish. In my experience, true prayer leaves everything up to God, such as when we say, "May The Blessing Be!" As noted above, this is what "Baraka Bashad" means. The song also focuses on the opinions we all have and how they -- hopefully -- change within the course of our lifetimes. They are, after all, only opinions!
