Story behind the song
This song was included in the album entitled "Pretending to be Human" by "Bruce & Bruce." (My middle name is Bruce.) Bruce Wozny and I recorded the album in 1989 and are just now releasing some of the songs digitally on the web. This song was both written and performed by me. The lyrics could refer to a true love of ANY kind -- to a person, a pet, God, life, etc. It is very uplifting.
