When I was 22 a young lawyer took one of my songs and put it on the ‘B' side of his recording of Ave Maria. He invited me to watch the recording session at Criteria in Miami, Florida. Since that moment all I have ever wanted was to have my music recorded by professional musicians and sung by established artists. This truly is a monumental task as I do not perform live so I have recorded my own material as a means to get exposure and as a way for artists to be able to judge the “cover” worth of my songs. I am looking for a publishing deal. Contact Info: Jim Blachura C/O Stablesongs Phone: 336 995 0813 E Mail: saintlymanmusic@yahoo.com Saintly Man Music /ASCAP

Story behind the song
my sister & I were 10 and 7 years old when this accident took a 13 year old's life...I know the lyric is 'just' walk away but I remember it as 'don't' because I didn't want Christine to be gone.
Lyrics
Christine was walking down the street paying no mind Michael was driving fast as hell, didn't see the sign We went to see her sleeping to look at her face Mommy & Daddy drove us to that awful place And all the way there the radio played that mournful refrain Don't 'Walk away Renee' was playing as it rained Their families were crying all night long it seemed like forever Now how would the two get along or would they ever We went to see her sleeping to look at her face Mommy & Daddy drove us to that awful place Her image haunts me as I think about that day I relive the journey when I think about the way the radio played that song so sadly as it rained Now when I hear Don't 'Walk Away Renee' It brings back the pain And all the way there the radio played that mournful refrain 'Don't Walk Away Renee' keeps runnin' 'round my brain Don't 'Walk Away Renee' was playing as it rained
