Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
I've always liked this song. As Bill's original version is somewhat lo-fi, I've always promised to record my own version. Apologies to Bill . . . I've changed the lyrics slightly as I can't make out what he sings in places (and I've omitted his final verse. All guitar parts, including the 'acoustic guitar' are from my Parker Fly. Bass as usual is my Rickenbacker 4003. Hope you enjoy it.

Don't know the original, so this is a completely new song for me. Excellent sound and production, first class mix. Powerful Brit Rock vibe, nice vibrating, deep, driving bass. I like the guitar work and the effects too. I'm sure Bill Nelson would be proud of this one.

Not familiar with Bill Nelson so gave a listen to him doing "Touch And Glow" on YouTube - kind of a Robert Palmer vibe for me but I'm not knowledgeable either way here. Then I gave your cover a listen - a little less edgy & a little more pop for me but very cool. I like your bass work a lot - I hear that bass tone a lot on your tracks - it's very good. Cool vocals, fx and synth work. Signature, cool, David Briggs 'Brit' guitar work. IMHO, you bring your touch to a well done cover. Very cool David!
