Story behind the song
For those who have been following the story, this song deals with the beginning of the character’s turning point. The main character of the Residue album, who first thought he had it all together and then had the world slowly crash around him, now begins to realize that he is not actually alone. This is the aspect of faith: are we (either the human race as a whole or him personally) alone in the world? Is the world only what we see? This character decides that there must be more, and he begins to feel a love that accepts him for who he is. Everyday, then, he begins to search out this feeling. However, the question is this: is it simply a feeling? That is looked at in the next song…
