I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

Story behind the song
I started using some various patterns found on fairly old synths, especially the Alesis Micron, and started messing with the sounds!
Lyrics
They gather in their millions, here on Regula 9, and they stare upwards at a distant spot, as if waiting for a sign, Their Antennae waving in unison, as if moving in a breeze, perhaps their world was green once, a memory of trees? A hush gathers over them, then begins the mesmeric clicks, the cluster of the insectoids, are up to their old tricks, As planet after planet, they've razed to ruin and dust, cosmic locusts of the outer realms, the end of all they touch!
