Hi and welcome to the land of Be Bop Radio Wakefield!!! Wakefield is a small town in Yorkshire UK famous for bieng the home town of Be-Bop Deluxe and Bill Nelson who were one of the most exciting bands of the 70's. No one can explain why so many talented bands making superb original music come from the Wakefield Area..It's a phenomina that I am bringing to the rest of the world through this Internet Radio Site...I am already an established musician on SOUNDCLICK and I do this service for the sheer love of ORIGINAL MUSIC. I HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!!!!!

Story behind the song
Formed in Wakefield, West Yorkshire January 2000 Soberskin comprise of Guy Thomas (b 1977 Vocals/Guitar/Keyboards/Trumpet) Gavin Thomas(b 1980 Bass/Bongos/Backing Vocals) and Chris Wilcocks (b 1976 Drums/Keyboards/Vocals) Soberskin's live performance is energetic and tight with an assortment of instruments played live by all three members. Onstage instruments include drums, keyboards/synthesizer, guitar, bass, bongos and trumpet. The band also use infectious samples both in the studio and on stage. In June 2001 Soberskin travelled to London to film the ITV series "Young, Gifted and Broke". The bands first TV appearance led to them signing a licencing agreement with Native Music Group. Recently Soberskin have played energetic gigs to audiences in Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield. They have also recorded a considerable ammount of new material for their next self produced album. Soberskin are very proud of the fact that they have never entered a recording studio- all their music is recorded in their rehearsal room / spare bedrooms! At the moment we are looking to play more gigs arround the UK with the aim of gaining further record company interest.
