Lyrics
1st Verse (Sir Pure):
Alert the presses I’m cloaked in crimson
Not my own blood, but the one that dawned salvation
I sifted through what this world thought I should do
Time and Time again its evident they have no clue
Biblical prowess I’m given a unique perspective
You grasp onto money, sex, and false worship
Ridden with diseases all because you want a release
Pleasure isn’t worthwhile, but temporary like living
A facet of the imagination so cyclical and subliminal
One has to wonder can there be somethin’ original
Or will the droves continue to conform to idiocy
You see we’re goin’ down in a spiral, it’s time for quarantine
People take freedom in the wrong context
I say this because some say speech relates to adult flicks
How can people be so blinded in their everyday
Then require sight in order to have an ounce of faith
2nd Verse (Crucial-Fix):
Alone I break but with Him I can make
anything happen until my soul he takes
Not strong enough for the tasks at hand, but being human is a part of being a man
And I don’t really think that anything else of me is a bigger part of His plan
So I sit and pray and think of the day when I can’t go on
And I don’t really need to replay everything that I did wrong
judgement always starts from within and it will surely end with Him
as I look to all of my good deeds, all I see is your greatest sin
True belief isn’t what it seems, but all my dreams contain the screams
of good hearted people who ignored His themes, those who only lived on schemes
and live a life full of extremes, trying to hide but they burst at the seams
Reality isn’t fantasy and once you can see that it won’t be
then you can know the true me, holding out for eternity
don’t think too deep, cause it’s bound to creep, all in your mind until the day you sleep
we all want Heaven but it ain’t cheap, and all pay the price that’s bound to be steep
cuz people follow people when they should be of the Lord’s sheep
3rd Verse (Sir Pure):
It makes no sense the contradictions I witness
A land built in suspense, good will needs to be harnessed
You criticize me for spreading hope and cheer
As you sit there confused drownin’ yourself in fear
You associate hypocrite with the title Christian
It’s no wonder cause many simply aren’t livin it
Many say that they are saved, only to deny His name
This isn’t a game life is fragile and you’re one in the same
Tolerance isn’t a question or even a requirement
Everyone makes mistakes and needs some betterment
There is good and evil, right and wrong
Wake up to the reality please by the end of this song
Go ahead call me a sheep I don’t really mind one bit
I’m lead by the good shepherd who will never quit
I’ve been found and won’t be held within this ground
I hope you too will rise when judgment comes around
4th Verse (Crucial-Fix):
I feel like I’m on the ark and the rain is pouring down
and I try to stand up but my feet aren’t on solid ground
people don’t you see that He is in your brother
and we must start praying for instead of preying on each other
our eyes are not the only way in which we see
we must use our hearts and His spirit to be visually complete
We tend to ignore or blame God when things don’t go our way
but when we do that we might as well ask what else the Devil wants us to say
freedom is the gift and respect for all is but the choice
our conscience is never dead but sometimes has a smaller voice
so we must push through and do what we are called to
otherwise we’re running around like foxes in a chicken coop
trying to recoup what we’ve lost but the cost was too grave
obsessed with saving ourselves but it’s not ourselves we’re meant to save
the only automatic way to see all of God’s grace
is to look out for fellow man and put ourselves back in last place
