i've been here for so long.  
i'm starting to realize just how much of my life is spent inside this box. 
i'm missing so much.  
my children are growing up and I know hardly anything about them.  
When I get home, the only thing I have the energy to do is drink and sleep.  
Whenever someone talks to me or about me, it is in reference to my job.  
I don't remember the last time i watched the sunset, or smelled the ocean, or had a picnic.  
i can't remember the last time i had a conversation that didn't deal with a business plan, 
or a sensitive time-line, or an action-oriented approach.  
If I'm ever home for any period of time, i'm thinking about what needs to be done at the office.  
this is my life.  my goals are now synchronized with the goals of my corporation.  
i need to stop day dreaming.  now these reports are going to be late.
