Decaying Orbit is an experimental, unorthodox, highly diverse & genre-splitting band from Texas led by their infamous front man Mike Ash. "No, this music's not about that, it's not about sound quality, it's about passion." - Mike Ash. Decaying Orbit is produced by their label, Decaying Enterprises Productions and has released many studio albums since they formed in 2008, after the violent break up of the Psychedelic Rock band, Strangefire, of which Mike was the former front man. Decaying Orbit believes in unadulterated musical & creative freedom, Mike describes their music as a "cathartic purge" or "nervous break downs caught on tape.". The band believes that creating music is a sacred, spiritual and magical art form brought to them by the Muses, wraiths and demons hidden just beyond the veil between the worlds of the physical and spiritual realms. Decaying Orbit has traveled beyond the veil and into the realms of the spirits, only to reemerge, like a caterpillar from it's cocoon emerging as a beautiful butterfly, so does Decaying Orbit get reborn through the fire of their cacophonous tunage. The band believes in complete freedom of lifestyle, I.E. sexuality, religion, spirituality, drugs, manner of dress etc. They believe that music is an interstellar language that needs no translation to be understood by absolutely anyone. It's the passion behind the emotions found in the music that matters to Decaying Orbit, they believe that integrity is more important than fortune or fame. This is our Decaying Orbit & we do hope that you will N'Joy tha' show!!!!

Story behind the song
another lyrical excerpt from my book of poetry, "Garbage Noize Parade"(available @ www.lulu.com) I am very proud of this trilogy of beatnik spoken word madness, it is unorthodox, bizarre, unique and totally beyond weird. I wrote the poem, "Garbage Noize Parade" in 2012 during a REALLY hardcore dex trip. of all three books I have published so far, "Garbage Noize Parade" is my favorite. plus I felt that these three songs gave a certain eclectic diversity to the album that it really needed.
Lyrics
Garbage Noize Parade(P.2.) Beam me back to wherever it is I must be from Somewhere else enitrely Cotton-leather-jacket-coffee spills on linoleum Fat space men can’t stop my delusions Centaurs-flying cars-or are they space ships? Some ramblings of a mad man gone waaay too far off his rocker Something. A stain. The unknown What effects might this have on this cardboard reality? Are there police guarding the barricades where this cheap reality fades into emptiness? Everything is upside down, then right side up-but fading out… The boy is sick, built his car outta plastic gasoline Got to fix the machine-make it work proper, see? On call-text me-yahoo my google Pink e-zines float by, Einstien would’ve shat his breeches over all this new fangled gadgetry Enough to build a sky scraper out of pure ingenuity Radio-oh yeah-Texas-guarding the fort- or were we supposed to be holding it down? I forget, but anyway-great minds think alike So you’ve probably already thought of all this… I’m just melting down the mountains-I’m just selling off the corn Receiving all transmissions-never got the order When is enough enough already? All of this intensity It’s just an illusion anyway, a beautiful delusion-paranoid psychadelics Begin countdown-countdown begins What the f*** were they thinking with such ingenious creations? Musical genetic mutations Let the madness begin-so we may all dance freely Can you feel my legs? I can’t. gone all numb they have Can’t seem to get the feeling back Hush hush now the best way to stay alive in this concrete jungle Is to keep to oneself. Outsiders are intruders-paranoid am I? Well you’ll see, you’ll all see In this great village, the sky is holding my capsule I read the old words many times over, Makes no sense, makes no sense, makes no sense at all…
