Lyrics
He hoists his blood red battle flag,
In preparation for attack,
The crew all preying for their lives,
Knew it was to late to turn back,
The sun setting far to the west,
Cast a shadow across the sea,
The captain from his quarter deck,
Saw the enemy turn and flee,
The trade winds blew like the devil's breath,
Waves more fierce than the fires in Hell,
Being thrown by natures giants,
The rodents flee from where they dwell,
The drummers they beat to quarters,
Through heavy rain the cannons roar,
As their ships engaged at last,
The sea was already red with gore,
[Lead : Croucher]
[Lead : Kendall]
The order came men board the ship,
Each man held tight his trusted sword,
Hand to hand, most noble combat,
Far to late to pray to the Lord,
Chopped and spliced mens' bodies fell,
Severed arms lay across the deck,
Merchant heads rolled fore then aft,
They ran through each man twice to check,
Merchant captain fell to his knees,
Took a swift blow to his liver,
The battle won the storm died down,
Not one pirate showed a shiver,
Drinking grog they circled the ship,
From the loot each took his prize,
Adrenaline, still in their veins,
A sickly lust in the captains eyes
