Singer-songwriter, arranger and producer: acoustic contemporary folk but ranging into rock/blues/country/jazz/humour...all very eclectic, I'm afraid!

My taste becomes increasingly eclectic ranging from finger-picked folk through country to soft rock mixed in with a few more alternative and eccentric numbers, including the odd novelty foxtrot...

Story behind the song
A song for Darwin... Mostly written in the Amazon basin - Napo in Ecuador. A fantastic place on a black marble-mirrored lake. Very scary to swim in as you can't see what's under the surface.. and yes, I did later catch a Piranha in it... And I did brave the jungle at night - with a powerful torch and a local guide... actually the conga ants were probably the scariest things - 3 bites and you're dead apparently
