Story behind the song
I felt lead to write a song about what the messiah says in his word about his kingdom and how he spoke about it in parables Matthew 13:10-13 The disciples came to him and asked "why do you speak to the people in parables?" He replied, "because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and tehy will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. " Matthew 7:23-27 23"And then I shall declare to them, 'I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!' 24"Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, 25and the rain came down and the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26"And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, shall be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, 27and the rain came down and the floods came and the winds blew and they beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall." I pray that this reveal's truth and that eyes will be opened for more and more of his righteousness in this crazy world we live in, so that we may be founded upon a rock instead of sand when he returns.
