Pardon? How can I interview me? Some streets are better than others? Some highways are brighter than others. Time of day, find a state of mind, imagination, TV, 1920s. I write about love, lost or found, hopefully honestly inspired by love, and try to play better for that. When younger protested about behaviours on my radar, and of course, being a simple artist, surfing the great times I imagine I had in another life, or maybe one day this one!

Story behind the song
Also called Bad Spy Detectives Blues. Story: Two hobos hiding out from persecutors in New York. Have done nothing to deserve the attention, so they are hitting back. Lucky has published a graphic novel of their worst adventure. Apple has written a book of short stories. They are doing private gigs with friends to find the cash to move to Western Australia, but not before they leave the truth behind. They've even been recording. The two men and woman 'on me' this afternoon are the cake Ladies and Gentlemen.. Start a war can't finish, put me in it. Call me a crimminal. Hide their history of bullying my name and character. The lie will be clever. Clever as these words. Men have an Empire of 'me'. Runs to years, hours every frigging day. Contribute nothing. Judge and jury better men. "We were with it but we are not to blame". Meaningless? Perhaps, if it suits. How possible? This blues song is too sarcastic to be in my usual canon, decent folk please note. Listen to this one.
