Pardon? How can I interview me? Some streets are better than others? Some highways are brighter than others. Time of day, find a state of mind, imagination, TV, 1920s. Story behind the song
Story: Like Lucy with Charlie and the football, two hobos from 1915 are trying to sing their way out of prison, a prison run by soul sucking heartless bullies. The bullies are lying about their history in order to stay entertained. The hope is that someone over the walls will hear the blues and help.
