Short punchy acoustic helicopter blues. I had some very nasty experiences lately. Mainly out the back lane when I zumba, but pretty much all the time. All the time. Challenge hecklers to talk of something else......

Blues. Used to busk. Thankyou for looking March 2021. Love/art/blues/Rob. So, musical diary
Pardon? How can I interview me? Some streets are better than others? Some highways are brighter than others. Time of day, find a state of mind, imagination, TV, 1920s. I write about love, lost or found, hopefully honestly inspired by love, and try to play better for that. When younger protested about behaviours on my radar, and of course, being a simple artist, surfing the great times I imagine I had in another life, or maybe one day this one!

Story behind the song
Short punchy acoustic helicopter blues. Story: Two hobos circa 1915 are talking about the war in Europe as an abstraction to talking directly about their persecutors, who, they discover, are incapable of not talking about them. Not at all. Not in earshot. One wants to steal their blues book. One wants to bake it. One wants to use it as a mythical drug reform new platform (the old one, being mythical, needs constant refreshment). They play this song to the biggest most important person they can find. The Mayor, or the Chief of The Fire Department maybe. Of course, nothing happens, and they barely escape with a few coins and their lives (esp. when the bullies discover their complaint). Short punchy acoustic helicopter blues. I had some very nasty experiences lately. Mainly out the back lane when I zumba, but pretty much all the time. All the time. Challenge hecklers to talk of something else......
