Fifteen years ago our first cousin lost her life in an automobile accident at a young age We miss her and we think of her often And now Tim has somehow come up with the words to describe how it feels to know an angel

To Know an Angel By Tim Arrington Growin up I never really knew the lady you'd became And all I ever heard was no one else was really quite the same Inspite of all the struggles we lived thru when we were young You'd just sit and smile when everybody elses head was hung in sorrow You would say tommorow Holds the key to set us free There's always something else to come along It might make you sad but it will make you strong I look around and I can see There's got to be somebody watchin over me It made me wonder how that you could see the light No matter what was goin on Whether it was wrong or right It also made me wonder what it's like To be an angel Later on in life I always heard about you helpin others out It never even mattered what the problem was what it was all about On that dreadfull night nobody wondered what you were gonna do We didn't know that luck would not be on our side or you'd be passin thru The passage way that takes our spirit to the lord and puts us by his side Or that we would be left here in this cold world without a place to hide From the pain the cold rain and all the things that take away our sunny days When I look up I swear that I can see your smile shining thru the haze I know you're lookin down on us from up above And I can feel your love Life is good and I feel lucky just because I know an angel Holds the key to set us free I know that she'll be waiting there for me when I get to the place I'm gonna be I look around and I can see There's got to be somebody watchin over me I smile when I think about you now and then And I still wonder When I'll see you again

a beautiful and touching song from the heart. i love the thoughtful lyrics sung so wonderfully. i lost my father in an axident in 06, and know what it's like to lose someone close. we will always miss them, but they are watching and are always with us...i like to think so, anyway. : )
