Story behind the song
Jude wrote these lyrics several years ago, and I always wanted to make a full instrumented version of it, but everytime I tried I gave up as the original carries a really nice spirit with it, but after several tries during the last 4-5 years, I finally managed to produce a version which - I think - still honours the original idea.
Lyrics
Grace, used to find me in the darkness, When my soul was weak, You'd wrap yourself around me close, So I could fall asleep. In my dreams you carried me, Protected me from harm Showed me life?s direction, With your steady guiding arm. Grace, somewhere in my dreamtime, I stopped hearing your footfalls, Your presence it grew weaker, I did not hear you calls. It would only have been a whisper, Caught up on the breeze, If only I had had heard you, Instead of falling to my knees. It was sometime, there in my dark hours, When there was nothing, no point it seemed, Then I realized, life is too lonely Without you, I simply can not dream. Grace, I thought things were hopeless, I was blinded by my fall, Kneeling here in weakness, Faintly, I hear you call. Your voice it?s getting stronger, You pull me into your embrace, Holding me in your comforting arms, My dear, dear sweet Grace @Jude Law

Great job on this remake of your original song. There is a huge difference in sound quality, depth and overall warmth in this new version... and the singer sounds a little better too!

Being a country dude I especially enjoy a good backwoods tune to mellow out my day - and this does it Lasse! Love the fiddles, piano, and guitars - and the hint of the steal sweetens up the vibe. Enjoyable listening ;&))
