I am grilly; all these musics were written and multi-tracked by me, except where i say. i don't try and do any style of song in particular - largely, though, i make song-based tunes, consisting of guitar music augmented with the aid of my multi-track computer. so quite normal, then. i have prog and electronica tendencies as well, and i'd best describe my music as::: prog-pop.

Story behind the song
some of the lyrics were taken from zeppotron's 'office romance' (google it!) i did this whole album in the year after i'd failed university, and this is one of the few tunes where my often bleak outlook shone into the music. some people say this song is very radiohead-y, but actually the chords are more similar to "the temple of everlasting light" by the great Kula Shakur this version is free of the two guitars and three vocals i pasted onto the album version. it's not better, but it's not worse, which makes me think the overdubs were unnecessary, although they make the song work better in the album.
