OMEGA was born in Brooklyn, NYC in the early 80's to african bred parents, in the Flatbush section of the borough. Unlike most emcees who grew up in hip-hop,enjoying the early greats like Run Dmc all down to Kool G Rap. Omega didn't become a true fan of hip-hop until the release of Big Puns "Capitol Punishment"....Since then he has immersed himself into the hip-hop culture, and studied the history of it allstretching way beyond just the music. Omega cites his influences as Canibus, Jay-Z, Big Pun, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Scarface, Andre 3000, Too Short, Snoop Dogg, and Nasir Jones as well as Krs One and The Roots
