Story behind the song
I will say this multiple times, but I am rather hesitant to say what the song means to me personally because I like to think that listeners might make the song mean something to them personally, therefore making a personal connection with ideas I give them. However I will tell what the building blocks to the song were. I wanted something simple, upbeat, but somewhat sophisticated lyrically; which I normally fail to do, but sophisticated in that it makes one think. It is pure emotion lyrically, and can be interpreted in several different ways; musically it's not complicated but it has a roughness about it also. I like to write songs with a twist, and I definitely put one into this. (Lynne)
