EL BASTARD is an underground emcee from Union, NJ. He grew up in Newark, with a love for hip hop back when it was at its purest form in the 80s and 90s. He feels todays rap scene to be a sad one as the market is flooded with nothing but flashy, auto tuned rappers. "What happened to the days where emcees just spit?" says the New Jersey native. EL considers himself to be an "out of the box" emcee with his unpredictable song concepts. "I think my creativity is my strongest point cuz I like to keep people guessin like whats he gonna come up with next? If I can get people to shake their head like this MF is out his mind then I feel Ive done my job". His in your face style and clever punchlines has earned him a name on the underground battle circuit of letsbeef.com. "Diss tracks are always fun..I never half ass a diss cuz you got everybody watchin and seein whos skills measure up better. Im bringin punchlines but I also feel like a diss should have a fun element to it, some humor like you straight clownin a dood so Ill do up a skit too and then sit back and enjoy the feedback". His first official mixtape "Bastardamus" dropped in April of 2010. Since then he has been featured on a dozen mixtapes from other rap artists. His next release "The Righteous And The Wicked" is set to drop in 2012.
