3 piece rock band based based out of San Luis Obispo, CA who happen to follow Christ.
Threshing Floor is Parish Ruth (vocals, guitars), Josh Ruth (bass), and Andy Covington (drums). This formation of the band began in early 2009. Parish and Josh are brothers while Andy joined thru a mutual friend at church. From there we continued to meet at least once a week on the weekends to fellowship, pray then play.

Story behind the song
It's my personal belief that man made religion only hardens the hearts and leads people away from the character of God. In my life, so many people hate God for something man was to blame for. This song shows my hope for those who have been a victim of faulty man made religion. Give a personal relationship with Christ a chance. You want a relationship with God, not religion.
