Story behind the song
This song was originally written in 1998 by Lisette Moore/Archie McLeod for a theatrical production (title song) by Irving Truitt This was shelved until 2003 when I first posted a feeler here at Soundclick (an Instrumental version) Fast forward to 2011. I built a new digital studio and this is a song I've always wanted to remix and add the vocal so this is the revised version.
Lyrics
It must have been cold in your corner To never have sunlight on your face How I wish I could be with you; be near you To make you smile again I remember The 27th of September Your warm hand in mine Up a stairway The sun shines through your window The conversation was so fine I know when the sun is clear You are gonna' be right here But when the rain starts falling down You won't feel a thing.........nooooo You won't feel a thing on a rainy day like this On a rainy day like this.... (play to here the 2nd verse) : )
