NEW WEBSITE!!! www.darphnader.net !!! darph/nadeR is a noise duo hailing from the sickly-yuppified small town of santa rosa, california. d/n began in 1999, though the two members (jared butler and cory thrall) had been playing together for a few years in a few different noise projects. d/n has experimented with many different sounds and atmospheres, and is now firmly rooted in a loud, noisy form, where most of their other projects had been for years. having had darph/nadeR for the quieter moments for so long, cory and jared decided nadeR should be louder. so, starting in mid 2003, darph/nadeR took it up a notch, matching the sounds heard in jared and cory's other projects like drinking.coffee.from.counselor.troi's.head and the batcave. they are much happier being truer to their home sound. and they still have their quieter moments, they just don't have to hold back anymore...... they're also a part of the amazing online experimental/noise collective The Infinite Sector Project - www.infinitesector.org
