Through modern technology anyone with enough drive can do the same. This humble expression of my appreciation is accompanied with a promise to encourage support and share any discoveries that may help someone else do the same and grow from these experiences. I am extra grateful that you and others have allowed this post to exist in your worlds. I feel truly honored Shane O’Brien More good news re Our Music and Prospects We have 2 songs submissions into the 2011_2012 International Songwriters Competition [ISC]. D Timms background: Los Angeles Times writer Bill Locey once referred to Danny Timms as “one of the (music) industry’s premiere sidemen.” Had Locey been a sportswriter instead of a music critic, he might as readily have designated Timms a music business MVP, for the multi-talented singer/songwriter/musician has proven himself to be an invaluable player to have on your team. Just ask Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Member of the Highwaymen, and current co author of Willy Nelson album title track _ Moment of Forever. Gary Ferguson background: Since then, he has also toured with Les Dudek, Eddie Money, David Benoit, Gary Moore, Charlie Sexton, John Hiatt, Glenn Hughes, The New Radicals, Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, and Larry Carlton. Johnny Griparic background: In Slash’s Snakepit Video- “Shine” Shane O’Brien background: Just a working stiff Ironworker by day and Musician at night that loves the life granted to him. obriensedge.com

Story behind the song
This was written for anyone who has flirted with a violent color in their past and consciously amended their choices in life to becoming a caring, tolerant, forgiving and loving man, or woman... In this case the change results in becoming a truly Gentle Man. Additional Note_This cut of Gentle Man was recorded in our Jungle Studio, which was Engineered by Don Haney, a man of noteworthy talents for sure. Thank You Don.

Gentle Man (c)2003 (06:09) By: Shane OBrien Theres a place out in southern California now Where a man can go back babe Be in touch with his soul again now Amongst the evergreens now, amongst the evergreens and the trees And his ocean and its breeze, and find His own solitude again now yeah And find some old log cabin down deep in them woods Hell see a mirror hanging down at the end of the hall Look into that image in the mirror and find, and find in himself yeah He's got to change his violent ways, become a gentleman now yeah You said it couldn't be true now, and it just couldn't be the way now That a wild man like me could never really turn around now Truly show love to you one day baby You said it couldn't be done now It just couldn't be the way now That someone as wild and crazy as me Could never really turn around babe And truly show love to you one day But way down in the bottom of a mans made up mind now You know a good man, he turns around, and he says to himself Ain't it good to be true now, ain't it good to love you now And turn around and become someone ya, ya, ya, ya You can depend on now But ain't that the life now, of a gentle man baby Does what he can, does what he can Aint no one to blame, ain't no one to blame now Ain't that the way it is baby, ain't that the way it is babe Ain't that the life now, now Of a gentle man yeah Of a gentle man now Ain't now one the blame Babe.
