I'm still amazed that God picks me up every time I fall down.
Simple songs that I hope will touch the heart of God, and maybe a few other people in the process.
I may never make it to Nashville, and I may never be on the radio, but that's okay. That's not why I do what I do. I do what I do because I understand things best when I get them down in rhyming lines set to music. I do what I do because I believe that my Heavenly Father enjoys the songs that few hear just as much as He enjoys the songs that everyone hears. I do what I do because it's one of the best ways I know how to worship God, encourage friends, and uplift the body of Christ.

Story behind the song
I was sitting outside playing my guitar when I wrote this song. It had been a long and essentially horrible week. I'd made a 28 on a major test, been yelled at and griped at, and had said and done more than a few things wrong. But as I sat outside that Saturday and strummed a few chords, a wave of peace and the understanding of God's forgiveness washed over me. So I wrote this song.
