FRANCAIS (English below) Je suis un peu decue en ecoutant des reprises d'autres musiciens qui voulaient chanter les chansons d'Alain Bashung. Alors, j'ai pense, pourquoi pas essayer d'ecrire une chanson en hommage pour le deuxieme anniversaire de sa disparition? Et la voila, apres plusieurs jours et versions, et le bel arrangement de Ron Walker, mon mari, qui a trouve quelque chose de tendre avec ses accords. Dans BLUE MONDAY, il y a plusieurs references aux chansons de Bashung et ses paroliers, annotes a la fin des paroles en bas. Les credits aussi vont a Ron pour l'excellent enregistrement. ENGLISH I was a little disappointed, listening to the covers of other musicians who wanted to sing the songs of Alain Bashung. So I thought, why not try to write a song in tribute to him for the second anniversary of his passing? And here it is, after several days and versions, and the beautiful arrangement of Ron Walker, my husband, who found something tender with his chords. In BLUE MONDAY, there are several references to the songs of Bashung and his lyricists, annotated at the end of the lyrics below. A credit also goes to Ron for his excellent recording.
