I was in Columbus Ohio a couple years ago for a conference when I was out in the city at night and met a man who had just been kicked out of his place and had no place to stay. He asked me for some money to stay at the Salvavtion Army (I'm not sure they really charge though). I dont usually give money, so I offered him a Bible (a Giddeans new testament) which I had actually tucked $10 inside. He didnt take it though, so I walked away, but I felt led to go back and give it to him, so I did. But I couldnt help wonder what Jesus would have done.
