Story behind the song
This is one of six pieces I wrote for a Handfasting on my Isle last year. The Bride's instructions were that she wanted Orchestral/Native American/Celtic/Hare Krishna! This is an Orchestral / Native American piece. The piece opens with a Call to the Spirits of the Forest to gather and bear witness to the Handfasting. As the Couple process through the Forest to the Grove, Native American Drums then introduce the Cherokee Morning Song and I then reprise the Call to the Spirits as the Couple near the Grove. As the Couple enter the Grove the full string orchestra with lead cello and flute play my love theme "Love's all around us".
