Story behind the song
I found somebody's "to-do" list on the ground somewhere and decided to set it to song. I then thought that the person who dropped it would probably recognize it if they heard it, and I didn't want them to be around when I perform the song sometime and discover I'd been using their dropped list for lyrics. So I changed all the words to something somehow related but totally different. "Devise poster at lunch" was probably something like "make flyer during dinner" originally. The "lemons" were all orignally stars the person had drawn to emphasize particular items. The different section that starts with "daughter wee luna" was written in a box on the page, and so I thought I'd let it stand out musically as well.
