"...I too play a guitar- but sometimes I play the fool" -John Lennon
Mostly, I write originals songs and record/produce the material at home. I just play acoustic/electric guitar, sometimes bass. I'll fill out the songs with other "instruments". Lately I've been filming renditions of these songs, doing covers of pop/rock songs, and making music videos of my material.

About my Peace Corps experience
Lyrics
Waking to the rhythm of the pounding of the millet Children fetch the water but never ever spill it Greeting family, greeting neighbors, greeting the morning sun But don't forget to pray to Allah like a good muslim Tending to the livestock and gathering firewood The chores never seem to finish (though they seem to should) Up The River Gambia Elders are assembling at the bantaba To discuss village matters- kiling, fula, saba Chewing kola nuts and brewing attaya tea Reflecting on what has been and what is to be Stars are emerging to lend whatever light they can To a sky, to a people, to a foreign land Despite all the hardships, at night they dance and sing It never ceases to amaze me how they keep going I don't have many photos of how I used to live Just memories of the fondness they were kind enough to give Up The River Just A Sliver Up The River Gambia Gambia...Gambia...Gambia words and music: Geoff Orbegoso 2010

Extremely visual, a personal notebook in song to share your experiences, so well presented, draws the listener in entirely, the outro adds a super-special realism. The whole vibe is captured here, great work!
