Straight ahead rock-n-roll, though restained by processing. One pass through a Crunchy twin. Overdubbed 12-string electric and GL Bass. There's a few layers of backgrounds to make it sound more like a band.
This is Jeff Kratzman's Christian Page. I have two categories one for Secular and one for Christian songs. I've had a lifelong relationship with Christ and not to explore the spiritual side in music, would be foolish. I hope you enjoy the songs and take the time to follow-up on some of the Bible verses that inspired the songs. I welcome all feedback, but unpleasantness will just be deleted. This isn't a forum for theological debate. If you don't want to listen to Christian Music, try the Jeff Kratzman - Songs link. There's another 50 songs there.
Story behind the song
1 John 4:1, Jude 2:18, Isiah 45:21, 2 Peter 1:1, Eph 6:13, Exod 15:2, Matt 1:10, 19:16, 24:12, Ezekial 13:2, 20:16, Daniel 11:31, Mark 13:32, Joshua 11:15 - I admit some I borrowed out of context.
The time is growing late and future events to come are beginning to fore shadow. Our politically correct and tolerant world has no tolerance for Christians. Many will turn away from the faith (Matt 1:10) and the Love of Most will grow cold (Matt 24:12). Be a rock and roll rebel for Christ!
Lyrics
1. As they days grow short, the Closer it all gets
Many false prophets have gone out into the world
Scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires
Turning the page of time upon themselves
You are the righteous Savior
You are my strength and my armor
I learn at your knee
Through You I am redeemed
2. Will they be remembered for their deeds or lies?
Prophesizing out of their own imaginations
Abomination that causes desolation
Confuses the people, and dooms the nation
3. Many will turn away from the faith
Love of most will grow cold
Looking for someone to crush and devour
No one knows the day, no one knows the hour
4. Choose this day who you will serve
The idols that you will build then follow
Life a life of faith, or paper shallow
Me and my house will serve the Lord
