Straight out of the foothills of Mt. Hood comes Useless N Pointless. A four piece post
punk rock band that packs so much energy it could light Las Vegas on its darkest night. With strong influences from the likes of The Ramones, Led Zepplin, Alice in Chains, and Slipknot these mountain boys strive to keep the blooding pumping in the vains of rock n roll. This group of two brothers, a brother in-law, and a groovy character unlike any you ever met begun playing together in mid 2007 just outside of Portland, Oregon. After being released from juvenile custody Troy picked up the guitar and wasted no time learning how to write songs. After a few years of strumming the guitar alone his future brother in law Sean picked up the Bass and the two started putting tunes together. In strong need of a singer Sean's best friend and Troy's younger brother Blake took over on the vocals and begain tackling the task of adding lyrics to the music. As for finding the man who is the back bone of any band the drummer, had become a difficult task. After several failed attempts in securing a soul who can do it right, the guys where introduced to Paule.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live usually in Portland, OR and Sandy, OR but we are willing to play anywhere we can. Recently we been picked up by the bar scene around Sandy, OR and been getting paid to play our original songs. At some venues we been known to get the crowd begging for more, giving us many chances to play an encore.
