Urethral Vaginosis
U.V is based in Maple, Ontario, Canada, North America, Earth and it is a duo consisting of Stevie Snatchteeth and Necro Digestor. We specialize in grindcore and we are currently working on our first album but we have a single recorded. As we progress we hope to incorporate many more musical elements while keeping the grind. Urethral Vaginosis is what you're gonna get when you listen to our music. It gives you a certain genital tingling that no man or woman could ever provide. We are a new and contagious STD, and we're out to sexually molest you through our songs.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Urethral Vaginosis was born when i was surfing amazon and came upon this band called Anal Cunt. That was the worst shit i ever heard but its all good fun. Someone who reviewed the album said that why would you wanna buy it when you can just make it at home and then me and my bandmate said, Why not? So then we just did our thing.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
havent played live yet but we would love to in the near future, to get the name Urethral Vaginosis into people's lives.
Your musical influences
haha Anal Cunt for being so shit.uhh in downtown Toronto by lake ontario theres this big ass ship. Well when it closes for the day, it makes this grinding/nasty rusty noise which is the influence for my bandmates vocal. We also draw from artists such as barry white and depeche mode because we have earlobes just like them, so thats cool.
What equipment do you use?
Digestor uses a gibson explorer to record the guitar tracks and a drum machine that came with his digitech pedal as drums. Snatchteeth does the vocals, no effects added, its all him. N.D mixes the tracks with soundforge in his basement. When Snatchteeth does guitar, he uses a guitar consisting of 6 low-e strings for that dying whale tone. He plays directly in front of his custom made amp (car stereo+speaker) for extra buzzsaw uncontrollable feedback. Its a 2002 fender strat with humbuckers soldered in poorly, so they actually hang out of the guitar.
Anything else?
