Seven piece reggae band hailing from Sacramento, California. Original lyrics with a few cover songs thrown in the mix. On vocals we have I-Drew and Struggla. Drums, Daddy Sweet, Bass, BassyK, Guitars, MannyMan and Che Guittara, Percussion, DreMon.
UrbanFire has opened for some great reggae bands, Burning Spear, The Itals, Steel Pulse, just to name a few, the list goes on.
UrbanFire offers their fans positive lyrics always reaching out to the fans to get a message across for peace, love and unity.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
UrbanFire started out in 1993 and have continued on and off since then always changing, always growing.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, mostly we play in and around Sacramento. Special moments? hmmmm how about when the drummer dropped a stick on stage in the middle of a song and yelled to the guitar player "keep going".
