Their newest cd entitled "you don't need this as bad as i do" is a reflection of the true personality of the band. On the surface, they look like they couldn't play their way out of a paper bag. But don't let your guard down because just when you think you've got them pegged, you're already due for the sucker-punch!
The cd interestingly enough, starts out with a 45 second retrospective tribute to the casualties of war... Smooth, slow, and simple piano, blended with hair raising yet subtle cries of those whose lives were cut short in their prime, sets the stage for what's to follow...
What follows is a roller coaster ride of intense emotional and musical drama built around the observations and commentary of these musical marvels.
Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be an amusing ride! YDNTABAID is USH's premiere CD release, and has received critical acclaim from peers, and press alike. Take a minute and listen to some of the tracks we have here, but know this... These songs are just part of the total picture. If you really want to appreciate the intensity and creativity of this project, you've simply got to pick up the CD and listen... Very carefully... From beginning, to end. USH is comprised of very young, very talented musicians who have a genuine love for their craft. USH was originally formed in late 2002. Many members came and went, but this most recent lineup brings enormous amounts of energy and and a love for each other and their music. Tighter than brothers, these five are inseperable on or off the stage.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play anywhere we can. We love to perform, and tear it up for our audience. We give absolutely everything we've got, and our live shows are really a lot of fun. Since we're from South Florida, we mostly play local shows in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and West Palm. Special moments? Every single moment on stage is special!
Your musical influences
We love to listen to anything new, raw, and edgy. It's got to invoke emotion of some sort, otherwise it's just a waste of time. We listen to bands like Thrice, Emery, Dashboard, The Bled, and basically most bands you'd hear on shows like the Warped Tour.What equipment do you use?
Nothing special... Standard rock hardware, you know... Marshall amps, etc.Anything else?
