Unspoken Fear
We are an experimental metal band from Hammond, IN. (20 mins away from SOUTH Chicago) that plays some kick ass metal! We play a mix of melodic and heavy riffs that fall into our music with a technical edge. Our guitars are influenced by progressive metal, power metal, and thrash metal influences.

All the recordings we have on here is with our previous drummer and one of our guitar player's doing bass.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
On May 10th, 2004, a small group of talented musicians started on their musical journey, playing phenomenal metal that they hoped would change the way people view the Chicago metal scene. The sound was impressive, combining thrash guitars with power metal and progressive metal influences, and a catchy form of drumming unlike no other. The group continued to prepare material to play out in the future until a few misfortunes came along the way. Almost a year later after their beginning, many things had changed for the group. Several line-up changes took place, as well as the loss of two of the members that started out in the original set. However, the change was for the better, but the sound was not compromised. The foundation of the music remained the same, only the players changed and it became better than it ever was before.
More than a year later, a metal band called, “Unspoken Fear,” rose from the ashes of the twists and turns and the unfortunate events that stirred around it. It is now a solid group of talented musicians that want to bring the fire back into metal. Their solid musicianship, aggressive sound, and melodic undertones will continue on in the faces of the band members: Aaron Covarrubias (guitar), Martin Briseño (guitar), Steve Johnson (drums), Stojan Ozegovic (bass).
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have not played live yet, because we are still searching for members to complete our group. However, most of our members already have live experience from previous bands.

Metallica, Overkill, Tool, King Crimson, Iced Earth, Labyrinth (Italian Metal Band), Primus, Secret Sphere, Pain of Salvation, Kyuss, Rush.
