Woof...first a 3 piece jazz act, to a 12-member free-association collabrative...and every combination in between...equals "what was I thinking", years of headaches...so suprise! Now I'm solo! Tons of Aleatoric, freaky psychedelic and experimental music composed “poco a poco”. Genres: Sci-fi techno with “trancehall” influence. Famous for destructive bass. Don't say I didn't warn you!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started mid 96. Roller coaster...that's why I went solo. ATTENTION! Some dingus on myspaces is using the name unpainted huffhein's, which not only looks horrible in print, is shitty four-track emo, and infringes on my brand name, as stupid as it may be. Just try publishing one iota of material with my brand name on it and my lawyers will make sure you're completely destroyed, in public.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Anywhere, anytime. I prefer not to rest on the laurels of my past exploits, lest one become complacent.

What equipment do you use?
A hella lot more gear than I want to type up. I love discontunued, vintage/collectors gear. I can't really bring myself to respect softsynths and loopers, and I don't use any out-of-house sampling, it's just unoriginal. I am steadfastedly a hardware proponent. I love hacking a deep piece of gear...
