Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Mission Statement:
U.R. (Universal Royalty) exists to bring a positive, Christian message through music to plant a seed in the unsaved and to uplift, encourage and convict the saved. "When we come to Christ, God not only forgives us, He also adopts us. Through a dramatic series of events, we go from condemned orphans with no hope, to adopted children with no fear. U.R. (Universal Royalty) represents this process. Universally we are all part of God's royal family, adopted by the King and united by the blood. In an act that stuns the heavens, He punished Himself on the cross for your sins. God's justice and love are equally honored. And you, God's creation, are forgiven. But the story doesn't end with God's forgiveness, it would be enough if God just cleansed your name, but he does more, He gives you His name."

U.R. plays an urban flavored blend of hip-hop, rap and rock. Originally from Staten Island, NY the members now reside in Mount Bethel, PA. U.R. has been showcasing its unique flavor since 1996 to crowds throughout the U.S and abroad. With their originally formulated style and sound, U.R. will capture you with their message and move you with their music.

Yeah, we play live. We've played all different places throughout the U.S. and in the U.K. We love to play live and are always looking for more opportunities to play anywhere.
Your musical influences
We're an eclectic blend of Hip-Hop, R&B, and rock. We listen to every type of style and sound. If it's music we listen to it. Well, maybe except country. We don't listen to much of that.
What equipment do you use?
We work with turntables, guitars, bass, drums, Akai MPC 2000, Korg Triton, and a number of other great musical products.
