Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Unique & Inspired (U & I) was founded by K.T. Johnson, CEO of Safehouse Music (pictured on the right) in Tulsa, OK. K.T. has been writin' since he was 7 years old. Hip Hop and Rap have always been his outlet. All through his teenage years and then into his early twenties, he was known in his hometown as a gutty, no holds barred freestyler and MC battle rapper. In '01 K.T. went on to release his debut album, "Life's a Hustle", which he sold out of the trunk at pool halls, corner spots and house parties. Eventhough he recieved a lot of satisfaction from music, something was still missing. He has since gave his life to Christ after a long life of DESTRUCTION and dedicated his talents and gifts to GOD. Now at 28 he has redirected his power & energy towards reaching the youth. As a volunteer at one of the largest and well know youth ministries in America,180 Church on the Move (Tulsa,OK), he is preparing for his own street ministry. In early '05 K.T. hooked up with Kin-Z (pictured on the left) who too has had a haunting past of DESTRUCTION and now lives for Christ alone. Together they form U & I. Unique & Inspired! We reside in Tulsa, OK. This is the next holy hip hop university. THE BIBLE BELT!!!
Your musical influences
Our musical influence has always been tha streetz. We don't forget where we came from or what GOD has delivered us out of. We are still gritty and grimey. The only difference now is the master we serve.

The Holy Spirit. HA! That's all I got ta say bout that!!!!!
