Underground Angel

Underground Angel is some of Central Kentucky’s best known talent. Keri Rigg’s (Vocals/Guitar) has been performing in this area since the age of three and has won numerous local talent competitions. Keri is the high purity of our sound. Her crystal clear vocals offset the rather rough sound of the rest of the band. Keri's range is the envy of a lot of vocalist. Gordon West (Guitar) The "Old Man" of the band, Gordon has been playing in bands since 16 (About 23 years now). But he won't let these youngsters get too far ahead. His influences are primarily blues, Buddy Guy, B.B. King and Eric Clapton. Ian Stalcup (Bass). Influenced primarily by the heavier sounds of the 80’s through today, we are looking forward to the edge that his style will add. Matt Stillwell (Rhythm Guitar) The soul of the rhythm section. Matt's groove sets the feel for the bands music. David Hellman (Drums). If Matt is the soul, then David is the heartbeat of the band. David ha some pretty eclectic influences and adds the needed drive to our music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
After a year of steady giging Underground Angel is really coming together as a band. The best experience you can get is on stage, and they have been getting experience! This page was the first record of the band when it was just Gordon and Keri, they haven't had a lot of time to update the site lately but they are proud of where they started and where they are going.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love live music. It is the best possible way to interact with the public. A band or artist on CD is great but a live show really lets that artist convey the spirit of the music. Currently Underground Angel is playing in and around Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
