Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
i'm known by Smurf. everybody that makes a record here, owns a studio, writes, sings, raps, etc., knows me or knows of me. out of Little Rock, AR (population of like 175,000) thats not a lot but, it's good i have the experience because if i had come out of a major city-i would be major already.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Used to play in church when i was younger (jr. high/high school), but currently haven't did anything live in the past couple years-currently a homebody (that is where my lab is).
Your musical influences
tandrebear (my lil bro, we influence each other, whatup bro?), timbaland, devante swing, jimmy jam&terry lewis, neptunes, just blaze, kanye, allstar the big beat maker (whut up steez?)-i look up to the legends, who are ulimately CREATIVE, not just musicians, anybody can do a beat but how creative you are gives it your "signature" like all the above have.
What equipment do you use?
MPC2000xl with External Zip (my internal stop workin on me); Motif6; PowerMacG4 with ProTools; MBox (the first one); Reasons 3.0; thats about it right now, 1.
